Van began her journey in Vietnam, teaching herself to sew at the age of ten. By sixteen she was a well-respected tailor, and at nineteen she opened her first store. That early training taught Van the true impact of tailoring, and how a well-fitted gown can transform a woman's confidence. The joy she witnessed in her own clients is what inspired her work.
